Role and Accountabilities: Develop and execute strategies to maximize performance of real estate investments and achieve investment strategy goals.

Reporting Line: Head of Asset Management (Australia)

Role and Accountabilities:

  • Financial analysis and modeling of real estate assets
    • Underwriting (including cash flows, sensitivity analyses, IRR analyses)
    • Valuations
    • Strategic Planning Analysis (Hold/Sell)
    • Take lead role in review of financial models. Assume responsibility for the accuracy, quality and consistency of analysis
    • Train other team members in financial analysis
  • Assist Asset Manager in managing acquired properties

    • Evaluate performance of investments
    • Review monthly and annual budgets and reporting
    • Track compliance with internal and external (e.g. lender) requirements
    • Monitor property and property manager performance
    • Assess divestment opportunities in order to maximise exit value
  • Coordinate/support production of Investor Reports.
  • Providing administrative support to team as needed
  • Preparation of closing documentation and filing
  • Other assignments as requested

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in property economics, finance or related field with 1 - 3 years of work experience in Asset Management, Valuation or Acquisitions.
  • Strong numerical literacy and MicroSoft Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Independent, well-organized and collaboration
  • Firm understanding of financial concepts, analysis and modeling
  • Must possess real estate experience
