Application and Delivery Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to work on critical regulatory and technology projects while supporting the business in a dynamic and fast paced DevOps environment.

As an Application & Delivery Manager within our Corporate Operations Group aligned to the Asset Management business, you are committed to ensuring that the best possible outcome for the business is achieved.

As an Application Manager you will also be responsible for applications and accountable for the on-going commitments for those applications, including, but not limited to, business requirements, obsolescence, BCP compliance, support, stakeholder updates and release coordination. You will also help to drive the design and architecture of those applications, challenging the developers on their proposals and making sound technical decisions based on relevant facts and our long-term priorities of cloud and automation.

As a Delivery Manager, you have a delivery focus and hold yourself accountable for ensuring projects are within scope, on time and within budget. This may include day-to-day running of projects in a Project Management capacity, while mentoring others on project management best practices. Using your knowledge of regulatory and technical projects and your exceptional stakeholder management skills, you are able to manage the full lifecycle of project activities in line with Macquarie's security, risk, audit and compliance frameworks. You pride yourself on your time management, relationship building skills and your emphasis on delivery.

You will also coordinate all team resources across a program of work, maintaining oversight of inflight projects and budgets as well as future requirements. You will work closely with other platform managers and application owners to ensure that our commitments are being met.

In this role, your day to day activities will vary but be based around; budget management, communication, coaching, delivery, platform management and stakeholder engagement. As an assertive and influential member of the team, you are comfortable liaising with senior figures within the business. You will bring to this role your Agile knowledge, your project management knowledge and your knowledge of institutional banking and financial services to deliver an exceptional result on critical pieces of work.
