Position Description
The GMOT team provides local technology solutions for our business partners including Global Markets Operations & Middle Office covering clearing, settlement and custody of Australian equities, fixed income currencies and commodities for both Merrill Lynch in-house business and Asset Management Services. GMOT Australia comprises of Agile Development and Application Support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day application support and monitoring for internally developed and vendor systems
  • Ensure operational activity at all times and any loss of service or downtime is restored in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex issues involving root cause analysis and end to end coordination and support of the problem resolution process.
  • Ensure the documentation of problem resolution processes and procedures is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy
  • Support and maintain productive relationships with and between key stakeholders including vendors
  • System deployment and change management - Coordinate installation and modification of applications
  • Raise incident tickets and change management requisitions
  • Packaging of software for infrastructure teams
  • Providing information and data for audit activities
  • Participate in small to medium size projects as required
  • Participate in rotating after-hours/weekend support as required
