We are currently recruiting an Application Consultant - Mainframe Modernisation - Technical Support Lead
for a 12 month fixed term contract, based in Sydney.
The Technical Support Lead will require the following to support our clients:
- Provide L2.L3 application support
- Lead and develop technical design for enhancements and projects
- Resolve incidents, problems and changes within defined SLAs
- Perform root cause analysis
- Escalate issues/incidents to other groups
- Implement small enhancement requests
- Liaise with other teams/groups to help close incidents/problems
- Provide support and guidance to user requests
- Provide support to Business teams on feature requests and possess Integration skills
- Experience with other dev tools and domain knowledge is a plus
To ensure success in the role you will possess the following skills -
•8+ years of experience in Cobol, PLI CICS, JCL, DB2,
•Middleware skills in MQ
•Leadership skills - lead a small team
•Application support and development skills
•Agile methodology and ways of working
•IT Service Management (ITSM)
