  • APRA is seeking an Analyst to join our Authorised Deposit-taking Institutions (ADI) Strategic Insights team within the Data Analytics and Insights branch of the Risk and Data Analytics Division.

ADI Strategic Insights supports APRA's core functions and has responsibility for producing high quality analysis and reports relevant to the banking industry. As part of the team you will gain a unique perspective of the banking industry as you apply your skill and experience to support APRA's role and mission.

You will play a core role in developing and presenting insights that help shape the way we regulate the industry, working with a unique and important data set of unparalleled breadth.

This is also a great development opportunity in a team and organisation that promotes learning, with access to formal training and study support.

The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in data manipulation and analysis ideally in the area of finance, a curiosity for investigating trends and anomalies, and exploring the implications of these. Strong Excel skills are essential, and you will have excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience in the financial services industry and SAS skills highly regarded but not essential.
