Sales, Contact Centre & Operations Manager
Your new company
Hays is currently partnering with a well-known, reputable company located in Melbourne's inner West. Your new company measures sales in excess of $15 billion, they are a global company located in 28 different countries. They are now looking for a Contact Centre, Sales and Operations Manager to lead, develop and improve their Melbourne Contact Centre team.
Your new role

This position is required to:
  • Optimise Call Centre functional and system-related processes to improve operational efficiency
  • Participate in projects to upgrade Call Centre technology, simplify processes and consolidate support effort across different business units/customer segments
  • Manage Call Centre Team to effectively handle in-bound calls while ensuring:
  • KPIs of Call Answer Rate, Conversion, Abandoned Rate are achieved, maintained and improved
  • Sales targets such as Booking Rate, Units, Service Attachment, Parent conversion are achieved
  • Staff are engaged, productive and focused on achieving results
  • Set the tone and culture for the Call Centre, fostering a culture of high performance, excellence in customer service with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Engage and build strong relationship with the business (e.g. retail stores) to ensure customer journey from Call Centre to Store is seamless and frictionless
  • Manage Live Chat operations and ensure team are focused to provide high quality day-to-day service level to customer and ensure support level is maintained and consistent across other
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need:
  • Experience in building a high performing sale led call centre environment
  • Product sales experience
  • Substantial management experience in a retail or business to business call centre
  • Technical experience in sales and/or call centre management
  • Proven leadership of a large sales-focused team or call centre
  • Previous project management experience is preferred
  • Demonstrating safety leadership and ensuring associate's safe working environment and work practices
