Our People Operations Manager, ANZ will be responsible for providing a best in class experience for Airwallex team members. By partnering with Finance, IT, Legal, Talent, Workplace and our global People teams you will work to ensure the smooth onboarding of new hires, efficient administration of employee changes and milestones, improved information flows, and provide support for larger people projects.

You will possess a passion for employee experience, outstanding administrative skills, and a strong understanding of employer obligations. You will become a point of contact for employees and people leaders seeking day to day HR support and take pride in ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will:
    • Work closely with the Talent Team to ensure smooth transition from recruitment to onboarding for new joiners
    • Manage our employee onboarding process including pre day 1 support and induction
    • Prepare payroll reports and ensure accuracy of payroll information inc. new joiners, salary increases, and terminations
    • Prepare employee change letters and visa applications as required
    • Ensure employee files, documents and HRIS Systems are kept current, accurate and secure
    • Provide first level advice to employees around company policies and HR queries with an understanding of when matters should be escalated internally
    • Support the HR Director, APAC and People BPs to implement new programs and initiatives
    • Provide administrative support through performance review cycles
You have:
    • 2+ years experience in a similar role
    • Tertiary HR qualification highly regarded
    • Experience in a fast-growth or start up environment preferred
    • Excitement to drive delightful employee experiences
    • Comfort working with cloud technologies such as Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, Lever, and BambooHR
    • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
    • The ability to navigate changing priorities while maintaining meticulousness
    • Discretion and sound judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
