Seeking a professional and experienced Office Administrator.
Your new company
Our client is a stable and essential service within the heavy machinery hiring and rental industry. Established in 1996 by the Managing Director, the organisation has been experiencing rapid growth and continues to improve performance year after year. A fast-paced environment that will offer progression and development for the future. This is full time permanent position which requires you to be onsite full time - located in Melbourne's northern suburbs.

Your new role
  • Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed
  • Greet clients and visitors as soon as they arrive and connect them with the appropriate party as well as offering refreshments if required
  • Collection and distribution of mail
  • Assist Accounts Receivable in invoicing and debtors' collections
  • Assist Payroll Officer when required
  • Assist Accounts Payable when required
  • Assist Financial Controller/CFO in finance related projects
  • Coordinate work functions and events
  • Maintain office supplies and consumables by checking inventory and order items
  • Daily banking as required
  • Generate memos, email and reports when appropriate
  • Raising of PO's on behalf of various personnel
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of credit cards, and bills
  • Calculate the bulk fuel monthly and coordinate receipts and paperwork
  • Make travel arrangements and schedule meetings based on management's request
  • General office duties as required
What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role you will have the following:
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package
  • Demonstrated experience working in an office environment
  • Strong customer service experience
  • A willingness to learn
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to working in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong commitment to working harmoniously within a team
