Models Analyst - 12 month secondment/fixed term contract

As a Models Analyst you will be responsible for the maintenance of decision models/automated solutions and capital estimate models. You are also accountable for the development of strategy led analytics that apply to retail consumer and business portfolios across the credit life cycle. You will assist portfolio analysts and retail credit users in strategy development and implementation as well as managing projects to ensure timelines are met. What will Your Day look like?
In the model user team there is a lot of focus on understanding the underlying risk drivers and impact thereof within the Retail Risk portfolio. We are focused on connecting the dots in order to understand the links between trends observed in reporting to economic conditions, strategy changes and change in model behaviour or being the hub that connects different stakeholders to achieve the best usage of our risk models. What will be in your toolkit?
You will have knowledge of consumer risk management and will be familiar with a number of components of the credit life cycle - including application, collection and ratings models. You have proven analytical, numerical, research and problem solving skills. You are seen as a mathematics and/or statistical expert. You are familiar working with data and MIS systems. You have previous experience working in portfolio and/or project management. You are driven by curiosity, creativity and resolving complex processes and issues.
