About the role
As a Manager within the Transaction Banking team, you'll be managing the accounting and reporting activities to support the Financial Controller across Trade Finance. You will provide provision of accurate and timely financial information to the Divisional Finance team and ensure that all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations across the business unit are adequately met.
Duties
  • Provision of support to ensure accuracy and timeliness of month-end delivery requirements
  • Reviewing registers, schedules, reconciliations and trial balances for Trade Finance
  • Ensure all reporting processes are controlled and efficient processes are embedded
  • Formulation, implementation and monitoring of accounting policies and controls
  • Leading and developing junior staff
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships across finance, risk, operations and the broader business
Skills and Experience
  • 6+ years of experience in a Financial Control role within a large Financial Services institution
  • Extensive experience within Accounting Policy, Technical Accounting or Product Control would be high regarded
  • Technical proficiency in complex Financial Instruments and Products
  • Extensive experience across Statutory and Regulatory accounting
  • Confidence in navigating complex accounting environments
  • Proactive mindset and attitude
  • CA or CPA qualification
