Data Policy & Standards Specialist

  • Provide guidance and strategies to increase the ANZ data management compliance while limits the associated costs
  • Providing leadership, direction, planning supervision and overall management of the essential elements of the global data management policy program for both structured and unstructured data
  • Ensure Regulatory requirements are met for the retention, storage and retrieval of all official records.

About The Role
Role Location: Melbourne
Role Type: 12 Months Fixed Term Opportunity

As the Data Policy and Standards Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation, updating and maintenance of data related policies, standards and guidelines across ANZ. You will ensure continuous development, implementation and compliance with Data Management policies, procedures and guidelines. In addition, you will also help to assist in developing training and learning, including roll-out plans and education requirements for new policies, standards and guidelines.

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
  • Extensive experience within the Financial Services Industry and a strong interest and understanding of other highly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrable experience in analysing and meeting Regulatory Obligations and working with Regulatory Organisations.
  • Highly skilled in managing a diverse set of stakeholders and demonstration of strong and well-structured verbal, written communication and presentation skills to a senior / executive audience.
  • Proven track record in Policy Governance
  • Experience with implementation and controls of technology systems including data/information governance and control, enterprise content management, data archiving, web content management, social media and mobile data
