As a Data Engineer you will be responsible to technical development activities for data projects spanning several technologies and solution patterns. Solution patterns include business applications, data models, ETL and integration solutions. We operate in an agile environment and understand that each team member needs the right training and equipment to be successful. We will support you to become orientated in your environment and ensure you become as proficient as possible as soon as practicable. Our team is motivated and foster a 'one-team' attitude: we only achieve success when we work together and support each other.

Working as part of multiple project teams
  • Design and develop ETL patterns, Integration patterns, and data models
  • User administration
  • Package creation and migration
  • Data asset management
  • Data migration and reconciliation
  • Security
  • Sofy release and feature training
  • How-to assistance
  • Knowledge repository management (via Data BoK)
  • Showcase capabilities (internally)
  • Training support / hosting

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include
  • A knowledge or an understanding of basic techniques or concepts in data engineering - ETL, DB modelling - usually gained through higher education experience
  • Has a basic understanding of how businesses work.
  • Has a basic understanding of data models (structured and unstructured) and its basic processing.
  • Familiar with at least one of common data analytics platforms and a data manipulation language.
  • Competent in data management and coding simple manipulations using those tools based on provided clear requirements.
  • Understands the need to include quality assurance checks on data processes. Familiar with data quality concepts and basics of performance assessment and module tests.
