Our client is a large Australian-based organisation and are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join their centralised compliance team. This role will start on a temporary basis with a view to move onto a permanent contract.
The Role
Working within a small, centralised compliance team, this is a high-volume, process-driven position with a strong focus on document verification.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and verifying compliance documentation
- Checking licences, training certificates, insurances and other documentation for accuracy and expiry dates
- Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of contractors and subcontractors
- Maintaining accurate records across internal systems and databases
- Completing high-volume data entry and ensuring information remains current
- Responding to queries regarding documentation and compliance requirements
- Supporting the wider team with general administration
Your Profile
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience within compliance, administration, onboarding or document verification
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confidence working with high volumes of data and documentation
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to confidently follow up contractors for outstanding information
- Experience working across databases or compliance systems
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- A proactive and team-focused approach
