Application Support Analyst


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support to the business as part of the IT Operations roster including:
  • Pro-active management, monitoring and classification of tickets in the service management tool
  • Complete coverage for the service desk during the designated business hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm
  • Immediate support & monitoring to all TSPL business units for resolution of data problems arising from the use of business critical applications
  • Technical consultation to all TSPL business units as required to progress concepts or initiatives for functional improvements to existing applications
  • Regular monitoring and management of all critical processes to minimise impacts to TSPL business unit operations
  • Provide support coverage and maintenance for TSPL suite of applications and services including upgrades and patches as required


  • Strictly adhere to the Change Management Policy when facilitating application changes relating to defect or enhancement/project requests logged through the service desk tool
  • Create/Maintain technical documentation on processes and procedures utilised by the IT Operations
  • Actively engage in knowledge sharing activities to reduce key man risk exposure within the IT Operations team
  • Assist with analysis and articulation of issues regarding all third party products to provide clear direction for correction of problems
  • Assist the Development team with the delivery of enhancement and project based work as required including all accompanying documentation such as solution designs and technical specifications
