Our client is a leader in the Banking sector. With recent expansion in Canberra market, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Adviser to serve a wide range of clients at an individual level as well as providing specialist advice to trustees of Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, family trusts and to directors of companies on a broad range of financial planning issues.

Your new role
This role is a rare opportunity to take over a newly established role in Canberra. This is the ideal role for you if you enjoy providing quality goals-based advice and lead the financial planning division to growth. You shall be responsible for:
  • Meet and develop relationships with clients to provide strategic and quality advice
  • Identify opportunities and provide holistic advice across but not limited to: superannuation, HNW and wholesale clients, SMSF, Company, trust structures, investments
  • Provide quality advice for clients on complex decisions they need to make regarding their wealth
  • Accurately assess Client's needs, objectives and risk tolerance and formulate an effective financial plan / strategy to meet their needs
  • Comply with legislative and regulatory frameworks
  • Work closely with support staff to execute advice
  • Maintain a constant learning and development path
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires an individual who has great client management skills and years of experience in providing financial advice. You demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to deliver high quality services and positive customer experiences. You also have:
  • Have a minimum of 7 years providing Financial Advice
  • Have a strong investments and strategic financial advice knowledge
  • Excellent with client relationships
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ethical approach to advice
  • Strong compliance history
  • Ability to work independently and grow the Advice division
What you'll get in return
This role is located in Canberra within a Big4 Bank which offers flexibility and a positive work culture. This is a permanent role with a salary of $150,000 - $160,000 p/a, depending on the level of experience.
