Technical Test Analyst
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Test Analyst to join their team in providing testing expertise and execution for a suite of digital applcations. The ideal candidate will not only possess the technical skills required, but also the ability to work on multiple pieces of work at one, learn at a fast pace, strong analytical skills and a curious mind.
This is a permanent opportunity paying up to $120k inc super, based in the inner suburbs of Brisbane CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper functioning of systems according to user needs and documented user stories
  • Identify and define required tests, executing and/or automating these tests, monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing target test items
  • Specify required test data and evaluate testing outcomes conducted throughout the software development lifecycle, to determine readiness for transition to the production environment
  • Contribute in workshops comprising business and or technical representatives to ensure the requirements are clearly understood and determine test-dependent activities, such as requirement verification and prioritisation, test scenario identification and general matters
  • Prepare well structured test scenarios and scripts
  • Support other test team members and associated IT and Business resources as appropriate to the implementation of testing related activities
  • Prepare and maintain relevant test documentation, including test scripts, activity schedules, narrative and written reports, and visual progress charts
Key Selection Criteria:
  • Java / JavaScript / .NET / C#
  • CI Tools (Jenkins, Team City, Bamboo)
  • JIRA
  • Travel industry domain experience
  • Agile software development methodology experience
  • Knowledge of the system or application-under-test
  • 2+ years experience in a variety of testing activities

  • Strong understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle
