Payroll & HR Officer
Hudson is recruiting for a Payroll & HR officer with excellent communication skills and MYOB experience.

The role:
  • Responsibility for the payroll and superannuation obligations for the College and related matters including:
    • Regular payroll processing
    • Collection and processing of new employee paperwork
    • Compliance with superannuation and payroll obligations/legislation
  • Assist the Head of College with Human Resource matters including
    • Liaising with the Head of College and lawyers re new employee contracts
    • Review of existing processes, policies, employment contracts to ensure compliance
    • Induction of all new employees including tutors
    • Compliance with employment/HR related legislation
    • Complaints officer
    • Workplace health & safety obligations including staff inductions (permanent, casual, tutors, kitchen etc)
  • Responsibility for the growing tutorial programme including:
    • Sourcing of tutors
    • Engagement of tutors including interview and appointment
    • Relationship building with past tutors
    • Monitoring of resident requirements and uptake
    • Collation and management of tutor documentation
  • Ongoing review of payroll and HR systems, processes and policies to ensure legal compliance and efficiencies are maintained
To be successful you will require:
  • MYOB experience
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • A personable, friendly and approachable personality
  • Proficient in microsoft office
