KPMG SGA is the in-house team of Charted Building Surveyors, Environmental Scientists and Building Certifiers with full service teams in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth plus representatives offices in Auckland and Singapore. Focusing primarily on commercial property: office, retail, industrial, hotels it also is well represented across other sub groups. At present we have a range of opportunities for Environmental Consultants.

Your new role:
This position gives you the responsibility to undertake, manage and lead contaminated land and hazardous building material projects, without being pigeon-holed into a dead end position. As part of this position you will:
  • Lead contaminated land and hazardous building material projects including Preliminary and Detailed Environmental Site
  • Investigations, Remedial Action Plans, Validation Reports and Hazardous Building Material Assessments.
  • Liaise with a variety of stakeholders including clients, sub-contractors, authorities and colleagues.
You bring to the role:

The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in environmental assessment, focussed on contaminated land ideally with some hazardous building materials identification experience. You will have:
  • An environmental science degree (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated project and people management skills.
  • Team leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in field sampling techniques.
  • Demonstrated skills in field sampling techniques.
  • Be hands-on and practical
