An opportunity exists for a Financial Accounting Manager to join a strategic and forward-thinking business at an exciting stage of their growth journey.

Your new role
In this newly created position, you will have responsibility for the coordination, control and performance of the financial accounting practices, including:
  • Coordination and preparation of statutory financial reports for the consolidated group, including, all associated intercompany and foreign exchange transactions on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Effectively leading a team to deliver accurate and timely accounting and reporting requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting policies, procedures and processes
  • Conducting analysis on actuals vs budget, the P&L, the balance sheet, including; inventory and sales reporting
  • Managing the preparation of technical accounting papers and conduct accuracy and completeness reviews of financial information
  • Coordinating all statutory financial and taxation reporting and coordinate the preparation of ITR, FBT, annual tax compliance and other tax related reports
  • Managing J-SOX compliance including quarterly checklists into DIVA
  • Liaising with external auditors to ensure appropriate handling of all enquiries
  • Actively participating in continuous improvement of processes and assist with special projects as required
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a CA/CPA qualified finance professional with exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills. You'll be a Manager/Senior Manager within a large well-respected accounting firm, or you'll have extensive experience within a larger commercial business where you have been responsible for the financial accounting division. You'll have meticulous attention to detail and well-developed time management and influencing skills. You'll be deadline driven without compromising on quality and will take pride in your work.
