BlackRock – Cash Portfolio Management VP

Responsibilities
• Join portfolio management team and take an active role implementing and executing the U.S. rates trading strategies and investment management process within BlackRock's Cash Management platform.
• Responsible for risk-controlled performance; Active role in asset allocation, tactical and security selection process.
• Preferred minimum 3-5 years experience trading money markets, credit, rates product.
• Particular focus on relative value and quantitative analysis to drive portfolio construction and optimization.
• Passion for risk-controlled performance; active portfolio management
• Manage front to back trade workflow and trade lifecycle.
• Build strong working relationships with trading partners and internal colleagues Contribute to sector strategy meetings; Prepare and present trading recaps and views.
• Strong written and oral communications skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts to multiple audiences.
• Support the Cash Portfolio Management team as necessary on a variety of objectives and projects.
• High degree of motivation, commitment, ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Effective interpersonal skills to help foster a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing while also bringing a dynamic, flexible can-do attitude.

Experience / Requirements
• Progress or certified as CFA,FRM, or MBA preferred
• Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of trading or portfolio management experience.
• Experience with strategy implementation, security selection, and adherence to portfolio guidelines.
• Candidate expected to partner internally with key support groups to maintain integrity of the portfolio platform.
• Strong technical skills and goods knowledge of Excel. VBA a plus.
• Experience with external trading venues such as Bloomberg, Market Axess, TradeWeb, YieldBook.
• Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills, able to manage and prioritize a wide variety of concurrent and competing projects.
• Experience with Aladdin or other trade order management, bond analytics systems a plus
