The ideal candidate will have at least 7-8 years of proven project management experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies with changing priorities to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will also have a minimum of 2-3 years of business analysis experience in investment management industry.


  1. Manage multiple cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity in a matrix environment
  2. Work with multiple stakeholders having competing priorities and requests
  3. Responsible for overall project coordination and status reporting
  4. Work with resource managers as appropriate to fulfill project staffing needs
  5. Play the role Scrum Master on projects using Agile/Scrum. Conduct daily scrums, sprint planning and sprint retrospectives.
  6. As a Scrum Master, work closely with product manager/owner to ensure that the team has prioritized list of Epics and features to deliver and work with team to make sprint and project/release delivery commitments
  7. Act as Agile champion for the assigned Scrum team(s).
  8. Responsible for all phase of the project from initiation through closure with ownership of project schedules, communications plan, contingency plan and resource plan
  9. Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources as needed
  10. Maintain Project action item lists, issues logs and follows up with owners to ensure closure and progress on items
  11. Ensure that the projects follow the defined project management processes and adhere to organizational risk management framework
  12. Perform business analysis to capture high level project requirements and hand these over to development team

Required skills:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field and 6-8 years of IT work experience, including 3 years managing projects.
  2. Solid Experience in SDLC using both traditional/waterfall and agile/scrum methodologies
  3. Good knowledge of tools such as Jira, MS Project 2013 online, Rally or Grasshopper
  4. Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
  5. Prior experience managing application development, product implementation and Infrastructure projects
  6. Experience managing project teams (3-7) team members in a matrix environment
  7. Ability to analyze data and write SQL queries using SQL Server and Sybase
