Production Associate / Senior Production Associate (Second Shift)

The primary responsibilities of the role is to support the publication of Moody's research reports. Support functions include formatting (text, tables and charts), troubleshooting, Analyst support (in person, via phone, email and web conference), publication and training on Moody's proprietary Content Management System. Additional support functions include formatting and publication of MS Word and Excel reports consistent with Moody's brand guidelines. Research reports will be produced for electronic distribution via Moody's website and email.

The Production Associate will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team atmosphere and must be able to multi-task. Individual must be an effective communicator and be customer focused. The Production Associate must maintain a high level of productivity and quality consistent with department standards and procedures. Projects will be completed using standard Desktop Publishing applications as well as Moody's Content Management System on the PC.

The required hours for this role are Monday through Friday 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. EST. Second shift hours enable the production team to provide coverage to our global offices including our offices in APAC.

Production Product Coordination

  • Bachelor's degree in Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design, Computer Graphics or a related field. Two years demonstrated experience in desktop publishing, presentations, typesetting, graphic design, computer graphics or IT support.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Candidate must have exceptional and demonstrable skills in MS Word and Excel.
  • Candidate should be proficient in PowerPoint and commonly used Desktop Publishing applications (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Experience with template creation, VBA or scripting for Word/Excel is a big plus. Knowledge of FileMaker database is also a big plus.
  • Experience working in a financial environment is a big plus.
  • Candidate should possess the ability to think and work independently while participating in a team environment.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written) are required.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills.
