A prominent, top-performing, boutique hedge fund in Asia seeks an experienced sales/business development professional and fund raiser for their funds targeting the North American investor base.

Reporting to the Global Head of Sales, you will need to be involved in sales of both long only and hedge funds, and to handle prospects, manage relationships. Targeting the North American market exclusively, you will need to act as the first point of contact, engage intermediaries, develop and execute business plans geared towards asset growth, liaise with client services, etc..

Additional responsibilities include leading marketing activies (events, roadshows), drive and deliver on marketing initiatives, collaborate on branding challenges, preparation of relevant marketing materials, and ensuring compliance obligations are met.

Key requirements: 
An extensive and documented track record of fund raising and accomplished AUM growth (Ideally a minimum of 10+ years). Innate understanding of the fund management industry dynamics (especially in the Asian regions), clear familiarity of the financial markets and related trends/market intel, passion for building lasting relationships. Articulate, ambitious, proactive, and adaptable.

All this should be supported by strong, robust, technical skills and fundamentals. Must be very switched on. This role is based in NYC, only people in the area need apply.
