Job Description

  • Responsible for managing business critical development projects from inception to deployment 
  • Facilitate ongoing enhancements to existing tools as requested
  • Scope and Project Plan definition and management
  • Meet and discuss facilitation with users and other tech team members
  • Project status reporting to upper management, stakeholders, and users
  • Articulate business requirements to the technology and UX teams
  • Facilitate UX and detailed requirement reviews with users to obtain agreement
  • Produce documentation: "As Is" and "To Be" workflows, Business Requirements, "Stories" for development
  • User acceptance testing as well as user training
  • Deliver necessary artifacts for implementation according to the team's process

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in business, finance or engineering/technology
  • 5+ years employed within the finance or technology related industry
  • 3+ years of business analyst experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience of full SDLC
  • Experience working with direct trading or portfolio risk analytics systems
  • Basic Investment Banking knowledge
  • Able to communicate and relate to both business and technical coworkers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and raise issues in a timely fashion
  • Must be detailed oriented, organized, and self-sufficient
  • MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Visio proficiency
  • Preferred background in SQL
