A growing New York based leader in cyber security protection of high risk assets for companies is looking for a proven sales manager with a past successful track record of running and expanding a salewes force. The right manager must possess the ability to help our sales force close sales in client meetings. Also, hiring and training additional proven sales individuals is a must.

In this role you will do the following:

 

  • Organize, train, and manage the sales force and their leads in order to meet quarterly incentives and sales targets
  • Help the sales force close sales by attending sales calls and proposal meetings
  • Allocate company generated leads to ensure sales people are succeeding
  • Train and test the sales reps on an ongoing basis
  • Make sure the sales reps are going to market with an articulate and compelling value proposition based on individual clients needs/size
  • Hire successful sales reps as needed according to our annual budget

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

 

  • 4-8 years of successful sales management in the technology, cyber security, or software as a service
  • Proven track record of finding and hiring successful salespeople
  • Track record of training and testing and role playing with salespeople to bring them up to the next level
  • Selling experience to middle market companies and large organizations as well
  • Excellent C-level/senior executive communication skills needed
  • Minimum 4 year college degree required
  • Problem solving and strong negotiating skills to understand/obtain client feedback and navigate challenging sales situations
  • Ability to exercise good judgement
  • Must be likeable and have good business acumen
  • Valid driver’s license
