The Role:
The Senior Operations Accountant is primarily responsible for monitoring and ensuring all mutual fund reports are processed accurately and promptly, in accordance with department policies and procedures. The individual in this position is responsible for coordinating data exchanges with internal customers and external service vendors to ensure that all required data and transactions are received and delivered in a timely fashion. In addition, s/he will be responsible for performing high level, specialized, operational processing activities in support of the firm's business lines.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Process fund reports
  • Monitor, review and validate all daily work to ensure accurate and timely release of fund transactions
  • Ensure data accuracy and related analyses, including integrity and adherence to department policies in all accounts
  • Support team with ad hoc projects to improve business performance


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 2+ years of finance and/or accounting experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Prior mutual fund industry experience
