Bringing together the resources of 30 member states, we develop and operate a range of satellite systems surveying the atmosphere, land and ocean that deliver vital data 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our data contribute to weather forecasts that protect lives and property across Europe and to monitoring of our changing climate. From 2016 onwards, EUMETSAT will also operate Copernicus Sentinel missions on behalf of the European Union and provide data and support services to the Copernicus marine, atmospheric composition and climate change monitoring information services and their users.

Contributing to the development of the innovative EUMETSAT Polar System Second Generation (EPS-SG) system to be established around 2020, you will provide comprehensive project planning and control support to a challenging 3B€ programme. You can expect a considerable variety of tasks, as you maintain programme structures, control schedules and costs, prepare management reports including indicators, prepare and monitor budgets, financial and human resource planning and support risk management and procurements. At the same time, you will lead interactions with the project control teams of programme partners (ESA, CNES, DLR, NOAA) and support financial bilateral meetings.

Qualified to degree level, you will bring wide experience of project control, contract and purchase order handling, budgetary management, invoice processing and ERP systems, ideally SAP. Equally importantly, you will be highly team-oriented and self-motivated, with proven ability to prioritise a complex workload, and you will be fully fluent in English or French with a good working knowledge of the other language.
