The Role:
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will partner with internal line of business stakeholders to analyze their business and user needs and translate them into information technology system requirements. The individual in this role will leverage strong project management and multi-tasking skills to devise and/or modify procedures for solving complex problems involving information technology systems capacity and operations.  He or she will work at a high technical level through most phases of systems analysis, and will be expected to effectively analyze the business implications of technology applications in current state and future state environments.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business leaders to manage technical projects and ensure production goals are met
  • Understand business objectives and how they translate to system requirements, production specifications, and technology application improvements
  • Liaise with Application Developers and Quality Assurance testers to ensure functional systems performance


Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience as a business systems analyst in the investment or securities industries
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • Knowledge of distributed applications including one or more of the following technologies: .Net, Visual Basic, MS SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel
  • Knowledge fixed income instruments
  • Knowledge of standard design methodologies and principles
  • Knowledge of Geneva or CRD
