We are seeking a Product Strategist to support the marketing efforts for our newly formed Multi-Asset Class Strategies (MACS). This is an exceptional opportunity to help launch new strategies at Acadian as part of a small, entrepreneurial team. MACS will focus on all major global asset classes including, but not limited to Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities and Options/Volatility. The successful candidate will be integral to pre-marketing and then act as the interface between the investment and marketing teams.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Product Strategist to support the marketing efforts for our newly formed Multi-Asset Class Strategies (MACS).  This is an exceptional opportunity to help launch new strategies at Acadian as part of a small, entrepreneurial team.  MACS will focus on all major global asset classes including, but not limited to Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities and Options/Volatility.   The successful candidate will be integral to pre-marketing and then act as the interface between the investment and marketing teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the marketing strategy and business planning for Acadian’s multi-asset suite of products, serving as both product line expert and main point of contact within Acadian
  • Serve as a resource to our global relationship management team to engage with clients on multi-asset related topics. Explain investment processes and complex portfolios to audiences that range widely in sophistication levels. Work directly with portfolio managers to support, enhance and articulate the investment process
  • Stay informed on investment issues and participate in investment meetings
  • Work with Acadian constituents to package and deliver information for internal/external communications
  • Provide comprehensive issue ownership, resolution and consultation on all related product matters including but not limited to product messaging, training, advisory agreement terms, and operational details
  • Create and implement marketing strategy, marketing materials (presentations, fact-sheets, white paper, thought pieces, etc.) and investment guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of industry experience, with deep capital markets and investment knowledge, in a relevant capacity such as managing money or working on the consulting side of asset management
  • Strong multi-asset experience and understanding of quantitative/systematic investment processes
  • Strong knowledge of investment strategies and product vehicles, specifically mutual funds, separate accounts, SMAs, commingled pools and sub-advised products
  • Ability to assimilate complex and varied market data into a timely case for product development. Strong problem solving skills.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, including experience with presentation development and delivery
  • Graduate degree in a related field required; advanced degree and/or CFA strongly preferred
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, collegiality and the ability to excel in a self-starting environment
  • Significant travel should be expected (50%)
