Job Title - Senior Full Stack Java Developer Location - Boston, MA Position - Full Time Industry - Financial Services

If you are a strong full stack Java developer or an exceptional backend developer with the desire to learn front end technologies, this team could be a great fit for you! (Two positions available)

A leading financial services firm located in downtown Boston is expanding a new team and looking to hire before the end of this year. The managing director of this group is planning to run the team in a flat structure where even he is hands on with development. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and a very hard worker. In a sense this group is run like a startup (the only difference being there is no risk of job security being within a hugely successful firm). The product is a trading application that is expanding both vertically and horizontally.

The ideal candidate-

  • Must be a very strong Core Java developer with excellent J2EE and database development experience
  • We are open to the experience level of candidates - must have professional development experience
  • Strong Skills with OO design
  • SQL and PL/SQL experience
  • JEE, Spring, Hibernate, JDBC, XML, Web services experience
  • Any experience with JavaScript, CSS, AngularJS or ExtJS is highly desirable

This is an opportunity to join a cutting edge technology team with a product that is experiencing rapid growth. If you are looking to dedicate yourself to a product, work with an elite team, and learn new technologies look no further. As a developer on this team you will have a competitive compensation package and also be rewarded with flexible working hours (once you begin understanding the product and get your feet underneath you).
