Interactive Brokers seeks an entry level individual that is detail-oriented, a quick learner, has superior listening skills and a problem solver with the ability to make decisions. The ideal person will be able to work well in a team environment. This position requires excellent coordination and strong customer service focus.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Compliance Officer with the approval process of new account applications on a daily basis
  • Process documentation in accordance with rules and regulations under the US Patriot Act
  • Cross reference multiple databases for potential undesirable client matches
  • Ensure that the account opening process satisfies the client's needs by means of complete and through responses to account opening questions and concerns
  • Correspond with clients, sale representatives and customer service representatives
  • Follow internal policy and procedures when dealing with any account-related suspicious activity

Qualifications :

  • BS or BA required
  • Excellent communication (oral & written) skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Fluency in foreign languages are a plus, especially Spanish, Russian, Greek, Mandarin, Japanese, German, French, Hebrew, and Arabic
  • PC Skills - Word, Advanced Excel, Programming and/or UNIX experience, and/or databases (SQL) is helpful
  • Registrations: FINRA Series 7, 55, 63 a plus
