About the role

Joining our highly capable and motivated actuarial reporting and development function, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of activity. Whether you’re leading one of our functional areas or serving as a senior level individual contributor, you’ll use your professional knowledge and sound understanding of the business across a variety of projects. From managing key internal and external relationships to providing financial advice, you’ll play a vital role in the development of our actuarial reporting systems and processes, and the implementation of changes in assumptions and methodology. In our fast paced, dynamic environment, you’ll put your problem-solving skills and mathematical approach to the test as you make your mark on the UK Life business.

About you

A qualified Actuary with at least five years’ experience, you’ll have expert knowledge and understanding of actuarial principles, formulae and methodology. Strong people management experience is crucial, as is the ability to work closely with others to ensure reporting processes are challenged in order to improve efficiency. You’ll also need to have worked in actuarial reporting teams and be familiar with actuarial systems and processes.
