As the IT Business Analyst, you will be working directly with the Head of IT and a number of key stakeholders across the SDLC (software development life-cycle), apart of a global transformation programme.

IT Business Analyst (BA) - Agile, Waterfall

My client a global leading house hold name, is looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst, to play a critical role on a greenfield project (apart of a global enterprise transformation programme).

As the IT Business Analyst, you will be working directly with the Head of IT and a number of key stakeholders across the SDLC (software development life-cycle), apart of a global transformation programme.

Accountabilities:

General -

  • 5 years experience within IT.
  • Minimum of 3 year's experience of IT Business Analysis (essential).
  • Experience in the documentation of user requirements and proven experience of turning this into working solutions.
  • Proven delivery track record for full life-cycle implementations.
  • Proven understanding of business process re-engineering.
  • Passion and awareness and of new emerging technologies and standards being adopted within the IT industry.

Personal Skills -

  • Adaptability & flexibility in working within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal general supervision and be self sufficient (as this is a stand alone role).
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to run and control workshops with business users and follow these through into a documented solution.
  • Good inter-personal, communication and listening skills.
  • Commercial awareness.

Technical Skills -

  • Good knowledge of UML modelling.
  • Good understanding of SOA.
  • Understanding of, and exposure to, project methodologies such as Agile, Prince 2 and their relevant tools.
