As the team expands my client seek a Senior Oracle DBA is to take ownership in implementing managing and monitoring utilising Data Guard as well as displaying core technical fundamentals in ASM, RAC and RMAN.

Senior Oracle DBA permanent profile required

Must have extensive knowledge of overall database architecture, including internals and admin.

Must have accomplished skills in ASM, RAC and RMAN.

Must have abilities in implementing, managing and monitoring Data Guard – physical, logical and snapshot standby.

General database administration, including capacity planning.

In-depth practical knowledge of investigating poor SQL query performance, resolution and overall tuning.

Demonstrate proven knowledge of identifying and setting up system and performance monitoring.

Ideally OCP certified.

Understanding of the development lifecycle and service management processes including Code Promotion, Change Control and Incident/Problem Management.

Excellent communicator – able to communicate ideas, technical issues and concepts to clients.

Have a proactive and tenacious nature as well as culpable abilities as a systematic, logical thinker and problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
