Sales Executive - Fintech

Following increased demand for its products and solutions and continued growth of the sales team our client is recruiting a Junior Sales Executive. This is an exciting entrepreneurial opportunity for an entry-level professional looking to grow their sales career in the highly rewarding, financial technology industry.

As demand for our services continues to rise, you will be expected to increase revenue through new sales opportunities within the EMEA marketplace.  You will identify and approach potential clients and present our solutions to CFOs and COOs. 

To succeed in our role, you will need to be very new business focused and must have an understanding of how hedge funds operate from front to back office and be able to sell software products into this sector. You will be expected to draw on your keen sales abilities to tailor a pitch to each specific prospect you uncover, providing a consultative sales approach as you learn about the potential client and discuss a specific solution.  You must be capable of working within a highly motivated team to drive the business forward as you will also work closely with the combined groups of Marketing, Consulting, and Product Management to ensure consistency of execution.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Technology, Business, Sales or Marketing

• Interest in selling software products to buy-side asset management firms and hedge funds

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent prospecting and networking skills with some cold-calling experience is ideal

• Good working knowledge of the financial markets
