What is the opportunity? Project Manager - Assistant Vice President Equivalent Grade. Project Manager leading matrix teams across multiple functions within RBC Capital Markets to deliver cross-functional change. The change initiatives will include business reorganisation, new product implementation, implementation of regulatory change and increasing business efficiency. The Business Transformation Group, part of the European COO function is responsible for cross functional change delivery within Europe and works closely with the PMO, IT Project Managers and Business Leaders to ensure successful project delivery.

What will you do?

  • Project Management of various cross-functional projects, ensuring appropriate project management and reporting disciplines.
  • Regularly report progress of project status, milestones, achievements and budgetary standing in both formal (steering committee, PMO) and informal settings.
  • Stakeholder management and coordination
  • Prompt identification of issues and problem solving to protect project schedules and budgets.
  • Generation of management reports on project/program status, milestones, achievements and budgets.
  • Assisting in the process of creation of New Business Committee papers and general support of New Business Process

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Strong organisational skills demonstrated on a range of business projects
  • Experience of leading collaboration across multiple functions, locations and businesses
  • Experience of full project life cycle on end-to-end projects
  • Effective facilitator between business and IT teams
  • Broad experience of capital markets products and markets
  • Experience of investment banking functions and internal procedures including reporting
  • Previous experience of business analysis
  • Degree level education

Nice-to-have
  • Project Management accreditation.
