Pipe-lining our talent both now and for the future, we are keen to hear from candidates who are interested in applying for a Project Accountant, IT Investment role, to be based out of our London Office.

As a Qualified accountant, you'll have a great understanding of core financials of a business across P&L, Balance Sheet, Risk and Capital Management. You're likely to be a finance professional with good business knowledge and acumen, IT market awareness and knowledge of the Financial Services sector.

You'll be a natural when it comes to Relationship Management skills, with a proven ability to build networks, challenge, influence and agree actions. You'll be familiar with project change lifecycle, along with knowledge and understanding of technology in a financial services organisation and demonstrate deep understanding of project accounting principles and techniques.

You'll challenge and stretch yourself, helping to drive the business forward and ensuring that Lloyds Banking Group as an organisation continues to progress towards our strategic aim of being the best bank for Customers.

IT Finance comprises a commercially focused team of 72 finance professionals primarily located within London, but also Bristol, Halifax and Edinburgh. The team is structured to mirror the Group IT business with teams dedicated to supporting the IT Operating Committee members.

Divisional CIOs are responsible for providing high class, cost effective IT services and transformation in support of divisional strategy. This is a key role within the IT Finance team. The CIO Finance teams are responsible for controlling and driving the cost effective and efficient performance of a collective cost base in excess of £1.5B and c.10,000 FTE. Colleagues in these teams will be qualified; demonstrate commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills and presence; and ideally have experience of managing a complex, multi-million £, dynamic cost base against challenging cost targets at detail project level rather than portfolio. They will be able to create collaborative relationships and influence key business stakeholders (and support Senior colleagues influencing to director level, deputising when necessary) to deliver strategic objectives and commercial outcomes through innovative financial insight, control and interventions.
