Partner or Managing Director level Business Developer with Consulting expertise is required for a growing Consulting firm in London. This will be across Financial Services with the main areas being Capital Markets and Investment Banking

I’m representing a Consulting firm that is on search for a Managing Director/Partner level individual that has a track record of successfully developing new business within a Consulting environment. This is specifically within Investment Banking/Capital Markets with connections across C-teams in a number of institutions. This is primarily a business development function with a small amount (30%) of high level programme delivery associated to the function.

The function is to primarily sell the consulting offering to COO’s, CTO’s CFO’s and CRO’s (but not limited to these).  You will be required to push growth using partnerships and help push on the current phase that the company is at.

The secondary function (equating to around 25% to 30%) is a high level programme delivery, on site at various clients.  This stays in line the organisations core values and principles and hold the connection of end-to-end project and programme delivery of which is the focus of this group.


  • Previous experience as Business Developer or Partner at a consulting firm with a focus on Capital Markets and Investment Banking
  • Proven track record of building relationships and across banks across the C-team in order to sell the offering
  • High Level Programme level delivery capabilities

We are looking for someone that has held these functions/responsibilities from a consulting firm. The importance of the contact pool being vast and across a number of Investment Banks is one of the key drivers for the search being across the external market.
