Client Operations Manager / Client Service / Client Operations / Investments / Unit Trusts / OEIC's / SIPPs / ISAs

The Company:

Our client is a UK leading Investment firm.

The Role:

Lead a team of Client Service Managers in developing and managing relationships with independent financial advisers, through market leading service and support.

Contribute to the management team and the department as a whole through positive challenge and identification of improvement opportunities, risks and service level. Drive change through an action orientated approach.

Ensure efficient and accurate processing of client and adviser firms' instructions, through continuous performance management and organisation.

Work with your team to develop and manage relationships with the financial adviser firms based in your assigned region of the UK.

Develop and implement account management plans for a number of key adviser firms and take ownership of those relationships.

Target adviser firms with significant relationship issues and those that present an opportunity to the company.

Lead effective team meetings, one-to-one meetings and Performance & Development Reviews (PDRs).

Identify training and development needs for self and team, create opportunities to address them and support staff with personal development.

Monitor and manage the performance of your team.

Establish and communicate team priorities, aligned to the department focus.

Assess the quality of work undertaken by your team through dip-checking.


The Candidate:

Detailed knowledge and understanding of Investments and/or Pensions (Unit Trusts, OIECs, ETFs and equities, SIPPS etc.)

Strong people management experience is essential

Financial Services Qualification (IOC, CFP etc.) is desirable

Experience of providing direct service to financial advisers is desirable

Strong intellect and analytical ability

Ability to manage workload through delegation

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
