The Junior LoanIQ Technical Support role is situated within LoanIQ ICT department. The main duties will be to, support development activities around the MISYS LoanIQ system itself, support integration activities (interfaces, connectivity) of LoanIQ, within the existing surrounding application landscape in UniCredit and Support / maintenance of the Loan IQ system itself (upgrades, patch management etc.) & the corresponding databases

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Daily maintenance and monitoring of production and test servers (LoanIQ and related interfaces of incoming/downstreaming systems)
• Batch monitoring and troubleshooting
• Database maintenance
• Support and perform software installation, system upgrades
• Automation of procedures as well as analyse potential support enhancements
• Deployment and infrastructure assistance
• Liaising with the vendor
• Review of deployment and support documentation with developers and BA’s


Person specification

Strong computer skills
Knowledge of scripting Java, SQL, Python, Groovy, Spring
Product specific knowledge: LoanIQ, DataNet,
Knowledge of batch processing
Knowledge of scripting

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills to act within an international team
Ability and willingness to learn
Reasonable IT skills in relevant reporting tools and database query tools
DB2 database expertise is preferable
Familiar with UBIS ICT Processes / Application life cycle management and knowledge of internal IT-tools such as (HPSM, ALM-QC, several deployment- and release management tools)

A Level Maths, Physics, etc. Other subjects may be considered if the applicant can show that they are sufficiently competent with computers or is willing to learn.
Bachelor / Master’s degree in one of the following: Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or Physics (or equivalent qualification) is desirable

Previous Experience:
Working experience in an IT-environment as developer or technical support
Programming experience (languages mentioned above are desirable)
Database experience (ideally DB2)
Experience of client / server architectures
Experience in usage monitoring tools
