Responsible for the diary management of senior members of the Investments team.

The Role:         

Arrange schedules for the work day, including meetings and personal commitments.

Manage any clashes in the schedules and ensure necessary periods in the diary are correctly blocked out.

Book meeting rooms, arrange refreshments and organise any required materials.

Monitor calls and provide cover when necessary.

Reconcile and process invoices and expenses.

Deal with all incoming and outgoing correspondence, including prioritising, copying and distributing papers.

Organise travel arrangements for both UK and overseas appointments including transport, currency and accommodation.

Maintaining client/detail databases and spreadsheets.

Arrange and deal with new starters, setup security/systems access and complete necessary HR forms.

The Candidate:
A sound understanding of the fundamentals of the investment industry and the role of a fund manager.

Must have operated in a PA role within an investment firm.

A degree or equivalent is desirable but not essential

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Access and PowerPoint.

Advanced Outlook skills.

A genuine desire to develop as a professional within investment management,·        

Strong organisational skills.

Ability to be proactive, think quickly, anticipate and manage issues before they occur.

High attention to detail.

Ability to work and support teams within a very busy environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
