Superb opportunity to join this incredibly successful and progressive company. They are interested in hiring someone from a market research, or an equity analyst (probably at the VP level+) who is interested in moving into a corporate role.
Head of Market Intelligence – Fortune Business
We are now working with a Fortune Business, who are looking for a Head of Market Intelligence to join their London team. The team supports the wider business unit with day-to-day intelligence gathering (externally/internally), market forecasting, analysis of customer trends passenger and changes in the competitive landscape - using a range of research methods, both quantitative and qualitative. They also deliver on-going market updates and tracking; to inform short and long-term strategic planning; as well as many aspects of the go-to-market strategy.
They are now looking to add a Head of Market Intelligence to their team.
The role will focus on market research analysis and the distribution of this intelligence across the business. This will require you to understand the strategic direction and tactical options for the business, perhaps inferring implications for intelligence acquisition, sometimes outside ‘business as usual’. You will also support the strategic planning process by documenting demand trends; forecasts; evolution/structure of competition.
On an ongoing basis, you will identify areas of research and intelligence gaps; structure of issues/questions to be answered; propose approaches to resolve gaps or deepen understanding and work closely with the sales and commercial functions to capture tactical intelligence related to commercial bids and customer approaches. You might also commission primary research studies and source secondary research reports to address specific enquiries as well as general gaps in knowledge, or to further expand market understanding.
It’s a highly strategic role.
They are looking for someone who will have a background as follows:
- Experience in market intelligence, strategy consulting, sell or buy side equity research
- Probably with at least 7/ 8 years + experience
- Experience delivering insights for global markets to internal and external audiences
- Proven quantitative and qualitative analytical ability, and ability to push knowledge boundaries
