Head of Digital Marketing

Job Summary

We are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to lead the development and maintenance of Winton’s digital marketing platforms and content. This comprises a number of Winton websites, email communications, video, social media, and the company-wide intranet site.

Founded in 1997, Winton is a systematic investment manager that uses the scientific method to develop advanced investment systems.  Through statistical analysis and mathematical modelling of historical data, we strive to identify profitable investment opportunities in the global financial markets.  Winton’s clients include many of the world’s largest pension funds, endowments, and sovereign wealth funds.  The firm also works with financial advisors to serve both institutional and private investors.  Winton currently has more than $30 billion in assets under advice and employs over 450 people in 9 locations around the world.

We are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to lead the development and maintenance of Winton’s digital marketing platforms and content. This comprises a number of Winton websites, email communications, video, social media, and the company-wide intranet site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital content curation, including:

a.   Managing and maintaining content on all Winton websites, including website copy, PDF documents, videos, web forms, etc.

b.   Managing and maintaining content across Winton’s social media accounts, specifically on Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, using Hootsuite.

c.   Supporting email marketing activity in Dotmailer, including campaign setup, template setup, contact/address book management and exporting and sharing email campaign reports with key stakeholders.

d.   Sourcing and editing high quality images using image manipulation software and uploading for online use

  • Coordinate content generation for the company-wide intranet site by liaising with internal teams (Research, Technology, Investment Management, Events, etc.)
  • Liaise with external agencies to manage new content and service requirements, including the briefing and scoping of projects.
  • Web analytics – to support and manage the extraction, analysis and interpretation of web metrics from Google Analytics and produce regular reporting.
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments.

Requirements

•       Minimum 5-7 years’ experience at a leading firm
•       Minimum 3 years’ experience using website content management systems
•       Demonstrable experience of using social media in a professional capacity (particularly Twitter and LinkedIn)
•       Experience using email marketing platforms, e.g. Dotmailer.
•       Excellent written and oral communication skills
•       Excellent standard of computer literacy, including use of MS Office and Adobe CS Suite
•       Ability to work quickly and efficiently with an excellent eye for detail and accuracy
•       Strong planning, prioritisation and presentation skills
•       Sound knowledge of HTML/CSS and search engine optimization
