Financials Business Manager

What is the opportunity?
The role is for a Financials Business Manager with cost management experience (preferably within an Information Technology Business Management function), to assist the GTI Europe and Asia Business Manager with the Financial management for GTI in the UK and Europe.

What will you do?
Cost Management Control
- GTI Headcount Management
- GTI Transit Cost Management including but not limited to:
Review & reporting of Actuals
Forecasting
Aiding Transit owners with managing their costs
Management of Prepayments/Accruals
Assisting GTI staff with Purchase Order and Invoice queries
Yearly Planning process
Year End Processes
Delegation of authority
- Project Financials
- Cost Allocations
Central point of contact for any queries from GTI
Central point of contact for any queries from UK Business clients

Process
- Documentation of processes
- Process Improvements and globalisation of processess

Reporting
- Monthly reporting on actual spend v plan/forecast
- Monthly headcount reporting
- Monthly verification of seating plan

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
- Stong computer skills and comfort manipulating data in Microsoft Excel to produce pivot tables & charts
- Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Part or fully qualified accountant
- Previous experience in Cost Management is essential, preferrably within an IT department
- Understanding of financial processes such as planning, accruals, prepayments, etc is required

Nice-to-have
- Understanding of finance sector and technology preferred.
