My client is seeking experienced and dynamic Financial Management Consultants (Finance, Transformation, Change, Strategy, Implementation, B2B, B2C) to work on improving effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business. Your responsibilities as a Financial Management Consultant (Finance, Transformation, Change, Strategy, Implementation, B2B, B2C):

 

  • Engagement delivery: responsibility for delivering programme work streams and projects of smaller size and complexity, including writing of client reports and work products
  • People development: monitor team members and accelerating development with particular emphasis on managing and mentoring engagement team members, coaching and skills transfer 
  • Practice development: contribute to the development of processes and initiatives that are key to scaling the business 
  • Business development: contribute to the development of and sustaining relationships both internally and with client management; including supporting business development activity (including developing, contributing to and presenting proposals/ bids for future work)

 

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • A proven track record in a Consulting environment, this is an essential requirement
  • Solid project based experience of working in a Finance Function 
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Strong work ethic, and professional and personable;
  • Good communicator with the personal skills to build strong and lasting internal and client relationships 
  • Understanding of issues and challenges facing Finance function, Finance business partnering and trends in Finance  
  • Good knowledge of Finance data, systems and tools;
  • Ability to take on a significant project delivery role
  • Able to demonstrate project management with a proven track record in delivering high quality project or workstream outputs;
  • Strong people manager, able to lead small teams and develop others
