Executive - (FS) IT Advisory, Guidewire - London

We are looking for Executives to join our team as we are looking for fresh ideas and innovative minds to assist with a number of projects in the IT industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
  • Good stakeholder management of senior client personnel
  • Assisting in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
  • Developing and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Building strong internal relationships within Advisory and across other services
  • Assisting in the execution and day to day leadership of a portfolio of client projects
  • Monitoring and manage client engagement budgets.

We have two different roles we are recruiting for within the Guidewire team: Business Analysts and Guidewire Configuration specialists

Business Analysts Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all Requirement Deliverables are delivered on time to high quality
  • Managing the requirement team in their activities including Workshop execution, User Story Elaboration, Storyboarding, Domain Modelling, end to end scenarios, etc.
  • Planning and Estimating - pro-actively estimate, plan, monitor and re-plan resource and activities taking into account agreed financial and time constraints and quality/project objectives.

Guidewire Configuration Responsibilities

  • Modification of Guidewire application to conform to customer requirements
  • Configuring screen layouts (PCF files) as defined by business, so it provides a means of capturing and viewing all necessary information
  • Implementing business rules and logic using GOSU language (Guidewire scripting language) as defined in customer requirements.

Experience:

Industry Experience

  • Successful track record in General Insurance or Claims gained through a top tier consultancy, a specialist financial services consultancy and/or a top tier insurer/Claims organisation
  • Strong experience of large transformation programmes
  • Strong understanding of the insurance value chain (from distribution, customer management, manufacturing, reinsurance through to administration - servicing, underwriting & claims management.
