To analyse and make recommendations in respect of Continental European Fund. To support the Senior Fund Manager in the development of investment strategies. To support the marketing of the Continental European fund and to assist in client service activities. Analysis & Research a. Identification of key trends & themes in the European economies/specific sectors Identification of companies as investments through primary research including analysis of companies reports and accounts Construct financial models of prospective and existing investments Buy or sell side experience as a predominantly Continental European analyst, between 3-5 years experience with a min of CFA Level 2 .

   
Monitor investments in the portfolio through attending meetings with companies and sell side analysts and attending seminars   2. Fund Management a. Portfolio analysis - support Senior Fund Manager as required b. Monthly report writing c. Transacting purchases & sales via instructions with centralised dealers  3. Marketing a. Support fund managers to promote the Continental European Funds to existing & prospective investors.    
Specific sector candidates will be considered provided they have the desire and capability to broaden out.
Role will initially include deeper analysis on chosen stocks by the Senior Fund Manager, in time this could broaden out into greater personal idea generation. This will cover all sectors over time.
Min CFA level 2 qualification essential 
Strong financial modelling / accounting knowledge experience.

Excel expertise required.
Experienced in fundamental analysis and meeting companies.
Will use Bloomberg / Factset for data gathering.
Need to buy into a macro driven portfolio construction, so an interest in economics helps.
