Due to our continuing growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Content & Technology Solutions group as Product Specialist/ Datafeed Specialist in a junior capacity.
The Content & Technology Solutions group is responsible for the growth and support of FactSet’s DataFeed products. Our aim is to streamline our client’s internal processes with FactSet data delivery via FTP or web services. The European CTS International Support and Implementation team consists of 12 people. You will be given immediate responsibility, working directly on exciting and challenging projects and delivering business solutions for our clients. You will mainly be responsible for the project management of new DataFeed implementations which includes gathering client requirements, preparing sample files, process design, implementation and testing. The Product Specialists work closely with CTS Sales, Consulting and Product Developers throughout the implementation process.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Day to day support of existing clients
- Client relationship management
- External and internal training
- Contributing to product development
You will gain exposure to the entire CTS product suite which includes Standard DataFeeds (FactSet proprietary content, prices, benchmarks and exchange data), OnDemand DataFeeds (web services, stat packages integration) and learn to design custom solutions tailored to each client using a combination of CTS products including Cornerstone and Publisher flat files.
As a Product Specialist you will develop your customer care, project management and technical skills as well as gain a sound knowledge of the financial data market.
The current team have a mix of backgrounds - some joined us from university with either Finance or Mathematics degrees whilst others had already built careers in either financial data or IT Projects.
We welcome ambitious team players with proven ability to take initiative and find creative solutions. Applicants must have genuine interest in finance and technology, as well as the desire to continually learn and develop in an ever-changing environment.
- Experience working with VBA or SQL and exposure to programming in R or Matlab.
- Knowledge or strong interest in Financial data
- Strong project management skills (in a technical or data delievery capacity preferable)
- Organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent numeracy, accuracy and problem solving skills
- Desire to offer the highest levels of customer service
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture
- Understanding of FactSet Proprietary Content and Equity/Fixed Income benchmarks
Additional language skills are beneficial: French, Dutch, or German
