For this reputable consulting firm we are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager level individual with strong Data Analytics and Financial Crime experience.  They are currently looking for experienced managers with expertise in Anti Money Laundering (AML) or Sanctions technologies and strong analytical background to join their growing Financial Crime team within ARCA. They have ambitious plans and are looking for individuals who can develop and build our go-to-market Financial Crime propositions and excel in client delivery. 

In order to be successful you will need to show ability in most of the following areas:

  • Understanding of the relevant Financial Services regulations in the UK and ideally in other jurisdictions
  • Experience with implementing and/or optimising AML or Sanctions technologies (Fircosoft, Actimize, Mantas, Detica / Norkom etc.)
  • An understanding of customer segmentation, transaction monitoring rules and scenarios
    • Advanced data analytics techniques, using platforms such as SQL, SAS, SPSS, R
  • Experience in visualisation products such as Tableau and QlikView
  • Advanced MS Excel (VBA and macros)

    Desirable Skills:
    • Previous experience in AML or Sanctions role either in Compliance, Operations, MI & Data Analytics or Risk
  • Knowledge of the UK and European financial crime regulatory environment
  • Understanding of statistical analysis methods and the ability to apply these in the appropriate circumstances
  • Experience of business analysis tasks and approaches
    • Data modelling and/or data architecture experience

• Experience of the software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of different DBMSs (Data Base Management System) and ETL technologies
