Representative activities led and supported by the CAO team
Partnering with regional and global business teams to formulate strategies on how to optimize near-term growth and/ or enhance current business plans, policies, and procedures.
Partnering with regional and global business and functional teams to perform strategic analyses of the EMEA market and customers for GX services
Overseeing various administrative control activities to support the EMEA GX business including
New staff on boarding and training
Contractor administration – vendor approval (where required), coordination with Procurement, SOW drafting / revision, time tracking administration and certification, and billing-related support
Time tracking administration for relevant employees
Real estate administration / desk assignments
AML / KYC administration (where applicable)
Monthly and ad-hoc reporting to regional and global leaders
Legal entity governance, meetings, notes, filings
Business unit SMC meeting administration
Regional policies and procedures (where applicable)
Resource approvals and progress in hiring
Information security administration
Data privacy-related efforts
Business continuity / disaster recovery planning
Resolution & recovery planning support, as needed
Management of Risk Excellence / First Line of Defence activities
Overseeing and supporting various business development activities including
New Product and Business Process preparation and approval
Budget planning and support
External events (where Global Marketing support is not available)
Other regional / business efforts as required
Coordination with business teams and Finance on billing and receivables

Maintain a detailed understanding of :
The scope of the role’s managerial responsibilities
The competence of the staff reporting to you
Ensure that your team has clear understanding of their reporting lines, authority levels, scope of responsibilities (including those delegated to them and those they delegate), objectives, training and competency requirements plus progress is reviewed regularly in line with Company policy, and are regulatory registered where appropriate for their role
Develop effective working relationships and communications with staff and ensure that staff are motivated, developed and supported.
Establish and monitor systems of control, delegated authority and escalation procedures so that the business complies with internal policies and external regulations and can be managed effectively
Adhere to the delegation and oversight (management information and escalation) framework in the performance of daily tasks. This includes taking proactive action to ensure there is adequate production of management information that is fits for purpose, and issues are raised as appropriate
Establish and monitor an effective delegation framework to ensure that tasks are performed by staff members with appropriate capacity and authority level (based on knowledge, skills and competence).
Establish and monitor an effective oversight framework to ensure that issues are appropriately identified, escalated and resolved. This includes: a) ensuring that appropriate management information is received, considered and challenged as appropriate at intervals proportionate to the risks; and b) that staff members have clear understanding of the escalation path/principles
Establish and nurture a culture of ‘Risk Excellence’ within the team, encourage an environment of openness that welcomes effective challenge and supports open discussion.
Ensure that you make reasonable decisions by exercising reasonable care when considering information available to you. This includes taking proactive action to ensure that the information you have is suitable and adequate.
Establish and nurture a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability into staff members’ behaviour in performing their roles.

Level of Education / Qualifications:
Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) preferred
7 – 10 years of work experience, preferably in strategy consulting and/ or financial services
Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated strategic planning, project management and team leadership experience
Hands-on style / willingness to “roll up sleeves”
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Fluency with Microsoft Office tools
Attention to detail / process orientation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Team orientation and ability to get work completed while building and maintaining positive working relationships
Willingness to raise and address issues and support a rapidly growing business
Ability to act as a capable extension of and representative for the head of GX EMEA
